Aakash has been communicating his needs in single words only. He does parroting if prompted to say sentences with three to four words.
But if he initiates and the spontaneous response for a question would be in a single word only.
We have been training him to communicate in sentences. Side by side we are working on improving his comprehension too.
To achieve this goal, along with the various ways we practice, I have started two word combo exercise. That is, adjectives + noun and also verb + noun. For example, Red Apple and Eating Apple.
